Lapland in Felt!!

My 13 year old girl has finished her project!
A miniature felt Lapland, complete with a little Saami family, teepee and reindeer!
Let's say it was a mother/daughter collaboration.
The reindeer was needle felted with antlers fashioned out of Fimo modelling clay and the tee pee is covered in scraps of leather all glued together. It was the first time I used a glue gun, and I've gotta say, what a revolutionary move that was! Instant satisfaction!

there should be a hundred comments here. please tell your brilliant girl these are astonishing. they make me gasp, really!

gosh jo, what a treasure you've helped create. the dolls, the reindeer and teepee, i just can't stop looking at them. i wish i could see them in person, i want to hold them and have a closer look. i can't believe you and your girls made them. bless your hearts.

(did i tell you my grandfather is from northern sweden? i've always had an interest in the sami too.)
